Profile
He was born in Kagawa in 1963. Graduated from Japan Journalism College (Editing Major)
After years of working for an Ad-maker, he went to Barkley on the West Coast for travel and visited Yosemite National Park following the trail of Ansel Adams and also places associated with historical people like Carmel and Big Sur.
He stayed at the lighthouse youth hostel during the trip, which brought him back in America next year again. A beautiful poster of lighthouses he had come across in Maine fascinated him and made him interested in American lighthouses.
After that, he visits America every year to take pictures of lighthouses and look for stories of people associated with lighthouses such as a photographer who lives in a lighthouse and a couple who owns lighthouse B&B.
As only photographer who identifies himself as “Lighthouse Photographer” in Japan, he is involved in the tours to visit overseas lighthouses or the lighthouse forum
